The Towards Integrating LLMs in HPC Software Development BoF will bring together researchers, developers, and users of large language models (LLMs) in the HPC community to discuss the challenges and opportunities of integrating LLMs in HPC software development. The BoF will feature a panel discussion with experts from academia, industry, and national laboratories, followed by a Q&A session with the audience.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
- Correctness and trustworthiness of LLMs for scientific code
- Performance and scalability of LLM generated code
- Legal and ethical considerations
- LLMs for Research Software Engineering
- LLMs for HPC education and training
- Integrating LLMs into existing HPC tools
